You must be at least 18 years old to use NeverBettr. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

NeverBettr monitors your device for gambling-related DNS activity and gambling app installs, and automatically notifies an accountability partner you designate via SMS when it detects such activity. NeverBettr is a support and accountability tool — it is not a medical device, a treatment program, or a substitute for professional help.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the accountability partner phone number you provide. Before you can add a partner, you must check a box in the app confirming you have obtained that person's consent to receive SMS messages from NeverBettr on your behalf — the app will not add a partner without this confirmation. You agree to indemnify and hold NeverBettr harmless from any claim arising from a phone number you submitted without proper consent.

By adding an accountability partner, you and that person agree to the terms of our “Accountability Alerts” text program:

• Message frequency varies and is triggered by detected activity, not a fixed schedule.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt that number out at any time; reply HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Paid features are billed through Google Play using the payment method on file with your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store — NeverBettr does not process your payment details directly and cannot issue refunds on Google's behalf.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or send unwanted messages to anyone who has not consented to receive them.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service's monitoring or security features.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the Service beyond its intended purpose.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that monitoring will detect every instance of gambling-related activity, or that every alert will be delivered — device settings, network conditions, and carrier issues can all affect delivery. NeverBettr is not a substitute for professional medical, financial, or addiction treatment advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeverBettr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any missed or delayed alert.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via the app or our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
